The top adorned with elaborate scroll-work that forms two dragons in pursuit of the centralized Flaming pearl. Dragon is a symbol of the Emperor, the Son of Heaven, eternity, Yang and Yin, male potency and fertility. Dragons are often shown chasing a pearl from the lore that the phases of the moon are caused by a dragon consuming it. In this case, the pearl may characterize wisdom. As the pearl also symbolizes veiled beauty or aptitude. It is one of the eight jewels of Buddhism, in this form it may be engulfed with flames to signify its enchanted powers.
