Fine Qing Chinese porcelain stoutly potted with baluster jar with tall feminine silhouette with broad shoulders and a body, pinches at the waist then elegantly fans near its foot. The baluster jar is capped by a relatively tall bell-shaped lid, in form of a general's helmet, crowned with an oval blue pinnacle. The exterior delicately painted in various rich tones of nearly opaque color and cobalt blue depicted the hundreds boys in various pursuits within a garden landscape. The glaze terminating slightly about the foot base, revealed the creme-grayish ground and unglazed underbase with dark-brown and black firing marks from kiln process.
