Chinese porcelain beaker vase having a globular body, with spherical midsection, and large trumpet-shaped opening, raised on a prominent splayed foot base. Defined by the deep red glaze which is sourced from copper as the oxygen is depleted during the firing stage. Amazing monochrome porcelain with even coated glaze throughout. The Red glaze terminates around the opening and foot base, revealing the pure white underglaze. This piece displays an immense glimmer as the light ricochets across the finely glazed exterior. Mark on base, a six blue underglazed seal script -ZhuanShu- characters, QianLong Reign Period of Great Qing Dynasty.
