Poems, Plays & Fairy Tales Exhibition, September 2013, Penlee House Gallery & Museum, Penzance.* Notes The Golden Dream, Pamela Lomax, 2004, in which Lomax states 'The symbolism of the painting is ambiguous. If the woman plucks the arrow from the quiver the presumption is that she has chosen to be smitten.
