Underglaze blue on white bowl with a central motif of a fish surrounded by florals and vines is typical of 15/16th century pottery from Annam, what is now Vietnam. The most famous shipwreck for peter of this type= the Hot On, which shipwrecked in 1480. This piece shows corrosion to the glaze from being submerged in seawater, but is other wise in perfect condition. 14.75 inches diameter
