Description

厚片状。正面凸起一神人，眼孔圆大，眼角上吊，阴刻火焰形眉、蒜头形鼻、尖啄、、发纹佩环、发纹极细，并饰有发箍。短臂，双爪微收并置于口前，翅微张目翅尖搭于尾侧。器背面有凹形环，边缘有三对等距对穿孔。此种人首鸟身饰，或做片状饰、或做帽状饰。佛教名称为“迦楼罗神鸟”，在辽金时期甚为盛行，人们极为崇拜。传说，当菩萨讲经时，它在一旁护法，时称其为神鸟。（是一件传世量很少罕有的玉雕之精品，故宫博物馆有一藏品与之相似）。
