A yellow jade snuff bottle


Late 19th/20th centuryWell-hollowed, with a recessed lip, oval foot ring, carved in low and rounded relief to the front with a boy offering a peach to a bearded sage under a pine tree by hillside, the verso inscribed with poetic phrases followed with two seal marks reading 'zhen' (precious) and 'wan' (enjoyment); the soft-hued yellow stone with a dark russet patch to one of the lower corners. 2 3/8in (6cm) high
