EXTRAORDINALY Ming Dynasty Chinese Tibetan Bronze Buddha Deity figure of Ekajati, Single Braid.With body in dark color, one face, three round white-red eyes, bared fangs and curled tongue. The brown hair is tied in one braid flowing upward; in a fierce aspect. Two hands holding a nectar filled vase to the heart. Having the body of a twelve year old with swelling breasts and the belly hanging down.This form of Ekajati is associated with Panjarnata Mahakala and Shri Devi. She is commonly found in the Eight Deity and Three Deity Panjarnata Mahakala configurations.In this form Ekajati is regarded as the mother of Mahakala and Shri Devi.
