A Chinese Ge Porcelain Ribbed Cylindrical Vase. With a cylindrical body narrowed to the flat base, tapered shoulder elevating the waisted neck toward flared rim. Distinctive Ge crackled glaze also known as jinsitiexian which translates to mean gold floss and iron thread which details the look of the lines that appear in the crackled surface. The color is balanced, elegant and exquisite. The whole piece is raised on a small disk-shaped foot base. The glaze terminates just before the end of the base revealing a dark charred clay. This piece displays a subtle sheen as the light ricochets across the polished exterior. The Ge type porcelain vase come with a Japanese wooden vase. Mark on base, a six underglazed blue seal script -ZhuanShu- characters mark, YongZheng Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
