Chinese Qianlong porcelain hat stand, with a bulbous head, the tall cylindrical column that is supported upon a circular base and angled buttressing. Decorated in colorful of several dragons amongst clouds surrounding central Fu-bat emblem. The column buttressing is sculpted into wispy cloud formations engulfing an upward flying Fu-bat. Fu can be translated to mean bat, prosperity, good fortune, and can even delineate happiness. The column, head, and base are immersed in various symmetric tessellations making for an elaborate design. The enamel is immaculate showing a smooth sheen and refined artistry. Mark on base, a six overglaze gilt seal script -ZhuanShu- characters mark, surrounded by four florals, QianLong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty. Dimensions: 16-1/4" H x 8-1/4" Diam.
