The high-shouldered vase is decorated with two Buddhist lion-mask gilt bronze handles, the body is decorated with shaped panels and cartouches enclosing Arabic script, all surrounded by bats and scrolling lotus. The foot is decorated with a lappet band and the rim with a ruyi-head band. The base with an apocryphal Qianlong mark. Condition: Appears to be in overall good condition apart from some wear to the gilding and crackling to the enamels. Origin: China Period: 19th/20th century Sizes: 41.50 cm. H 16.34 in. H
