Meiji (1868-1912) or Taisho (1912-1926) era, early 20th centuryKakejiku (vertical hanging scroll), ink and colours on silk in silk mounts, depicting the full moon and bamboo, signed in gold Naniwa Koho (Koho of Osaka) and sealed Koho; with a double wood storage box. Overall: 195cm x 54cm (76¾in x 21¼in); image: 102cm x 35cm (40¾in x 13¾in). (3).
|Kyoto-based Takaya Koho, a late member of the Maruyama-Shijo lineage of artists, is recorded as having been active until at least the mid-1920s.
