炉为法盏式，法盏系道家施法所用法器，明宣德帝曾以法盏炉分赐天下道教宫观。炉内沿、外壁及底部均施蓝釉，以缠枝莲纹为主要图案。色彩以宝蓝为主，红、黄、绿、粉等为辅，妍丽又和谐。双天鸡耳，下承三足。
