A regulator longcase clock, by Albion and Jones, in a mahogany case, the silvered dial signed and dated 'AD 2001' and with 'up/down' quadrant, the glazed trunk door displaying a thermometer and barometer, with concealed lead weight, 45cm wide 25cm deep 192cm high This lot comes with the original handwritten drawings and calculations for its construction. Colin Bent was a much respected clockmaker and restorer and worked for many years from his shop Albion Clocks, in Grove Hill, South Woodford.
