此盆以歙石雕成，长方形，倭角，直腹，四矮足。器壁较厚，外壁以阴刻手法，四面雕刻水仙、玉兰、菊花、石榴、桃花纹饰，花枝舒展，清新质朴。整器天然不加过多雕饰，视之纯净典雅，端庄质朴，有文人意趣。原配红木器座。铭者简介：赵鹤清（1865～1954）字松泉，号瘦仙。姚安人。光绪举人，官澜沧知县，充八旗学堂教师。工诗词书画，画《墨兔》曾获巴拿马万国博览会一等金质奖章。亦工书法。
