Rare gilt bronze and stones inlaid libation cup. The Chinese gilt bronze bowl repoussed in a deep vessel with round cavetto, semi-square shallow tray, rounded corner and flat rim rising from broad wide cavetto. Emerging two archaic dragon motif with ruby red crown stone, textured-handles and shaped cartouches, are appended on either side from belly to the upper mouth rim, and raised upon three cabriole clawed leg fitted unto the bowl foot base. The main body carved adorned various flowers blooms with vivid tones stones color, interspersed with scrolling tendril and foliage wrap all the surface cup. The upper mouth rim decorated with repeating key fret and six Chinese calligraphy. The bronze is bright and lustrous as the light is easily reflected from the well-polished surfaces. The plaques split in the middle section, and fitted perfectly upon each other. There is a light grey patina noted in several creases. The Under-base bears reign mark, a six seal script characters reign mark, Made In The Years of Qianlong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.Measurements: Height 5" Width: 4.5"
