Surrounded by rosette, floral cartouches and delicate floral tendrils border between floral, reciprocal and plain stripes. This rug has full pile of soft silk and is in very good condition throughout. Selvages original. Ends with short fringes. Extremely fine weave, approx: 10 x 9 knots per sq. cm; woven on silk foundation. Very elegant piece.
