A FINE BIJAR RUG, NORTH-WEST PERSIA approx: 7ft.2in. x 4ft.4in.(218cm. x 163cm.) The field with diagonal rows of large stylised boteh together with angular floral vine. In broad border of rosette lozenges and stylised floral vine between arrow-head and barber-pole stripes. Apart of touches of slight wear to the top pile in few small places, barely visible, this rug is in very good usable condition. Selvages rebound. Ends with fringes, secured. Elegant piece.
