A FINE TEHERAN CARPET, NORTH PERSIA approx: 11ft.10in. x 8ft.3in.(360cm. x 251cm.) The ivory field with scrolling arabesques and angular floral vine around large floral and arabesque double medallion with pendants. In light-blue border of polychrome palmettes, arabesques and floral tendrils between double flowering vine and plain stripes. This carpet has touches of slight wear in few small places barely visible otherwise good pile. Ends with fringes secured. Selvages original, with touches of fraying on cord. In general this carpet is in very good usable condition. Attractive and very good furnishing piece.
