A late 19th / early 20th century American gilt bronze four glass mantel clock by the Ansonia Clock Co, New York of typical form, surmounted by a twin handled urn, the sides with bevelled glass panels on a base with decorative mounts of a female mask, and scrolling motifs, raised on four paw feet, the white enamelled dial with Roman numerals signed 'MANUFACTURED FOR THE ANSONIA CLOCK CO. NEW YORK, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA', with recessed centre revealing the Brocot escapement, the twin barrel movement also signed and striking on a coiled steel gong, with twin tube, mercury pendulum, 48cm high
