Two large delftware plates c.1730-40, one Liverpool and painted in blue with two cockerels beneath a bending spray of flowering prunus, the rim with further prunus sprays, the other London and painted in polychrome enamels with a strutting cockerel beneath a flowering branch and a vase of flowers, within a panelled rim, and an unusual plate painted in blue with three ducks swimming beside a jetty, the rim with willow tree vignettes, some chipping, 26cm max.
