本品敞口，弧腹，造型周正。因采用覆烧工艺，口沿有芒，故而包铜边一周。内外皆施白釉，釉层轻薄，底心刻划折枝莲花纹一株，线条流畅自若，构图简洁明快，主题鲜明，花朵、花枝分布恰到好处，余部不雕不饰，彰显出定窑刻划工艺的娴熟灵动，以及有宋一朝简约写意的美学理念。
