Description

A Minton Parian bust of Jenny Lind mid 19th century, modelled by Samuel Joseph, her head turned slightly to the right, raised on a titled socle base, signed 'S Joseph' to the reverse, 33cm. Johanna Maria 'Jenny' Lind (1820-1887) was a Swedish opera singer who performed across Europe and America, settling in England in 1855.
