藏传佛教的信奉神系庞杂，除了信奉佛、菩萨外，还将祖师、本尊、佛母和护法也作为其特有的供养对象，其中又以祖师的供养为首位。此尊上师头戴僧帽，眉目清瘦，凝神沈思。身披僧袍，双手各持一枝莲花置胸前结说法印，莲花与双肩绽放，分别放置金刚铃，金刚杵。铃、杵是修金刚法者所不可或缺的法器，象征智慧与慈悲。上师跏趺而坐，莲座细长饱满，工艺精细。
