此尊释迦牟尼佛高肉髻，面相丰满端正，宽额，眉间有白毫。左手置脐前结禅定印，右手指地结触地印，结跏趺坐在莲座上，表现迦牟尼于菩提树下降魔成道的情景。且身着袒右肩式袈裟，衣纹起伏凸显，转折流畅自然，有较强的写实性。莲座为仰覆莲瓣式，上沿饰以细密连珠纹，莲瓣细长饱满。瓣尖挺拔微翘。整体包浆熟旧，古意盎然，为 16 世纪汉藏艺术交融下的代表之作。
