NEVERS, 18th century. Revolutionary ASSEMBLY with contoured edge in stanniferous earthenware. Polychrome decoration of large fire representing a nobleman and a clergyman standing on a mound. Wears the inscription: "Misfortune brings us together". On the reverse side handwritten inscription "Ripault". Eighteenth. Diam. 22.7 cm (splinters on the edge). A similar copy from 1791 is kept in the Lambinet Museum in Versailles.
