拍品为一件精致的文房隽品，属仿定白瓷之器，呈方形，方口折肩，直腹，方圈足，气质古朴。外壁模印兽面纹饰，线条流畅。置于案上，可相伴文思。 水盂又名水中丞，据晚明著名清赏家文震亨《长物志》记载：“水中丞以铜性猛，贮水久则有毒，易脆笔，故必以陶者为佳。”故文人雅士历来对瓷质水盂情有独钟。
