Fine, stable and age-appropriate craquelure apparent overall, especially apparent in lighter areas, such as the sky. 3.5 x 5 cm (1 3/8 x 2 in.) patch on verso. Inspection under UV light shows an even layer of varnish and scattered areas of old retouching to parts of the craquelure (to less than 5% of the overall painting surface). N.B.
