Medieval Leaves.- 2 conjoint manuscript paper leaves, brown ink with small red and blue initials, from a psalter book, contains parts of Psalms (39 & 40, 48 & 49), vulgate numeration, with antiphons and chants in red, Gothic--textualis quadrata letter, single column, 22 lines, browning and soiling, 4to [written area c.160x130mm], possibly French, loosely inserted in slightly later vellum wrappers featuring manuscript verses or chants in brown and red ink, soiled, stained and torn , with another similar leaf, folded and torn, some staining, browned on verso, folio [c.310x175mm], c. XIII-XIV century (2) Provenance. Used as early lining paper.
