和阗白玉质地，肉质洁白细腻，致密油滑，局部受红沁。圆雕一菱角，厚实饱满，以阴线及浮凸表现菱角表面之天然起伏，两头尖角向内伸卷，其上镂雕数丛叶茎，象形写实，雕琢细腻。菱角因其外型似心形，又“菱”与“灵”同音，故有“心灵相通”或“灵犀相通”之意，意美工佳。
