|Khmer. Angkor Vat style. 10th-12th c.|Bronze with dark patina. Adorned with a necklace, spangles at the arms and ankles, earrings and a diadem over the conical pinned up hair. The Buddha sitting in meditation was formerly presumably part of a sculptural mandala of bronze and sat on an elevated platform surrounded by other figures.
