|Myanmar/Burma. 19th/20th c. Mandalay style.|Wood carved, hands set in separately. Thayo lacquer in flat relief, gilded, with small, colored glass stones and mirrors (hman zi shwei cha). With both hands spreading the splendidly decorated coat standing on a small pedestal. The white face and hands refer to similar figures of marble or alabaster.
