The panel has a few old splits following the wood grain but these are stable and the painting is generally in plane. The paint layers are in a stable condition. They have suffered from wear in the past and knots in the wood have caused damage to the surface. There are scattered retouchings across the painting which are well matched to the original. The varnish is clear, glossy and even. The frame is in a good condition.
