A Qu'ran copied by Muhyi al-Din Sayf al-Din ‘Arif Qurayshi, Agwanpur, North India, dated 27 Ramadan AH 1281/23 February 1865 AD, 707ff., Arabic manuscript on paper, with 15ll. of neat black naskh per page within gold and outer red and blue rule, gold roundel verse markers, headers in orange and black, marginal decorations in cobalt and gold, opening and closing bifolio with gold and polychrome floral interlace on a cobalt ground in the Kashmiri style, a long note on the final leaf gives the name of the patron as Husayn Khan bin Gulab Khan of Agwanpur near Muradabad [near Rampur, east of Delhi, in present day Uttar Pradesh], in soft brown leather binding, folio 26.1 x 14.8cm.
