通体采用釉下青花和釉上五彩结合的斗彩工艺绘画，盘心绘团花纹，盘内壁折沿绘以等距的暗八仙纹。暗八仙是一种由八仙纹派生而来的宗教纹样，此种纹样中并不出现人物，而是以道教中八仙各自的所持之物代表各位神仙，始于清康熙朝，流行于整个清代。盘外壁绘缠枝莲纹，底心书青花“大清光绪年制”。整器器型规整，画工精细，青花发色明丽，为光绪时期典型用料，布局规范，施彩淡雅。
