笔筒口底相若，通体呈绞胎自然纹理，朴素拙雅。口沿面与近足处一圈以茶叶末釉装饰，与绞胎纹相辅相成，实为点睛之笔。绞胎又称“搅胎”，“绞泥”，是用白、褐两色或多色泥料相间揉搓在一起。由于泥料不同，纹理变化多端，或如木纹，或如鸟羽，或如行云流水，极富装饰趣味。底书“大清雍正年制”六字篆书款。
