以翡翠雕琢作如意状，布有灵芝纹，雕刻自然，宛如一条游龙。翡翠，其名传说来自鸟名，这种鸟，羽毛艳丽，雄性羽毛，呈红色，名翡鸟，又名赤羽鸟；雌性羽毛，呈绿色，名翠鸟，又名绿羽鸟，合称翡翠。 此翡翠如意，质地细腻，水头极佳，弥足珍贵。雕琢打磨流畅，体现一种婉约的华丽。翠色莹润，艳绿除布，水头之足，堪称高翠。受限于彼时资源的稀缺，高翠质地翡翠极为珍稀，纵然是宫廷也是鲜有。
