Steel blade, handle and sheath in black lacquered wood with a gold decoration of sparrows and flowers.

Provenance: Italian private collection.
A knife very similar to this one - considered a weapon available to female warriors - is in the Stibbert Museum in Florence (Guerriere del Sol Levante, exhibition catalogue, Turin 2019, n. 26).
