长：12cm
竹根制成，扭转呈S形，高低相欹。包浆醇厚，褐中带红，近似琥珀。每节根须断茬处自然形成盘结，宛如连珠纹。侧生竹枝处则斩断留疤，古朴稚拙。在宋明时人则皆称为笔格。唐宋以前，笔架主要用玉石制作，且多以山峰形为定式。明代屠隆在《文具雅编》中记载的笔架质地已有各色玉雕、铜鎏金、仿古铜、哥窑、定窑、奇楠与老树根之类。整器截竹根为段，小巧玲珑，造型奇特，把玩摩挲，其乐无穷。 参阅：《Arts from he Scholar's Studio》56页，图19；清代 盘竹龙形文玩
