A Venetian view with a gondolier on a backwater canal signed lower right 'Bouvard' oil on canvas 64 x 90cm Condition report: Oil on canvas which has been lined, canvas tension is good. There is a minor deformation at the centre of the lower edge. The paint layer is stable overall, one area of damage in the upper right corner has been filled and retouched. The varnish is yellowed with a slightly mottled appearance in some areas. There are a few scuffs and scratches and a layer of surface dirt present. The frame is in a good condition.
