A SMALL ENAMEL AND JADE-DECORATED GILT-METAL FILIGREE BOX AND COVER 18TH/19TH CENTURY Of rectangular form with canted corners, the hinged cover applied on top with a white jade lion-form plaque surrounded by champlevé enamel flower spray appliques, with enamel appliques of dragons and flowers on the faceted sides of the box, all reserved on a fine, dense filigree ground and raised on four enameled corner supports 3" L., 7.5 cm.

Provenance: A Montreal Collector Lot Notes:The intricate filigree metalwork combined with the use of enamel appliques is typical of Court taste throughout the 18th and 19th centuries.
