The large charger depicts mythical beast qilin galloping amidst ocean, forest, and flowers within roundel, with scrolling flower and vine band at the rim, similar motif on the exterior.|Yuan Dynasty period.||Height: 2 1/2 in (6.3 cm) Diameter: 16 in (40.6 cm)|元 青花麒麟纏枝花卉紋盤|盤花口，淺腹，圈足，底不施秞。露出瓷胎，出現火石紅一樣的黃衣子。胎體厚實。除底外，盤內外壁施白秞，秞面清亮，略泛青。秞下以青花繪石紋、花卉紋，盤心繪麒麟、外壁繪纏枝花卉紋。青花原料為進口的波斯鈷料，色澤濃豔幽靚，出現深褐色結晶斑。所繪紋飾，畫面滿，落筆重，層次繁密，花大葉小，枝蔓如藤，葉如葫蘆形。麒麟和鳳凰生動形象。至今元青花彌足珍貴，此盤為元代青花瓷器的典型器物，頗有收藏價值。
