Dimensions: 7in H x 5.625in W x 5.625in D Chinese Qing Dynasty Period, Qianlong ruby red floral conjoined vase. Cluster of six conjoined vases with one taller on center and surrounded by fifth conjoined body. Large, tall, ovoid bodies connected together with one larger vase at the center. All rounded shoulder tapering gracefully to a prominent straight neck below a slightly flaring upper open lip, raised on small flat base. All reserved of hand painted ornamentations are rendered in ruby red underglaze base color which contrast against the famille rose design color. Famille rose hand painting depicted vividly hand painted in enamel design, famille rose translates to the pink family, on a colored ground decoration. Each bulging sides enclosing colorful falangcai, famille rose on a colored ground decoration, of Bajixiang Exterior adorned with flowers blooms interspersed with scrolling tendril and foliage, banded with scrolling tendril on the middle, repeating Tao tie mask on the upper open lip and geometric pattern on the foot base rim, each section enclosed with thick single ring line. The Lines of the drawings are clear, the light and dark shades are subtle. The colors are harmonious, elegant and exquisite, the composition is sophisticated, simply a feast for the eye.
