Finest porcelain in a globular body, thick and having deep bowl body with rendered slightly rounded sides and a large rounded lip, raised on a slight round flat base, with slight flat dome lid with finial bud. All reserved hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white underglaze base color which contrast against the cobalt blue fine color. The main body decorated with group of children playing on the grass field among flowers blooms and dense tree below scrolling ruyi clouds, all in a salubrious garden landscape, enclosed with double fine blue rings lines. The shoulder festooned with auspicious geometric pattern and flowers blooms. The foot base rim decorated with trashing wavy Lishui water. The dome lid adorned with scrolling flower blooms among fresh foliage and geometrically pattern, enclosed with geometric petals pattern with phoenix tails on the finial bud. A characteristic heaped and piled effect, the underglaze grayish-blue concentrates in certain areas, bubbling through the surface of the glaze and turning a deep blue-black. This inadvertently gave texture, energy, and shading to the design. The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground and dark grayish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim. The mouth rim reveals the cut edges during the making process, and the base left unglazed with grayish creme-brown ground and dark spots of firing marks. Mark on under base, a vertical six underglaze blue seal script characters reign mark, Jiajing Reign Period of Great Ming Dynasty.
