Dimensions: 5-1/4" H x 11" Dia. Chinese Ming Dynasty Period, Blue and white flowers plate. The porcelain potted with a shallow body, slight deep, broad cavetto, with wide flaring opening lip, raised on a flat round foot base, with slight concave footing. The exterior decorated with hand-painting in cobalt under glazed blue, depicted with abundant flower blooms interspersed dense foliage and scrolling tendril. All surround the interior and exterior surface. There is not any overlap of the outlines, its well carved, clear, subtle, and distinct. The glaze is seamless and gives off a beautiful luster, with the colors maintaining excellent vibrancy. The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark grayish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim.
