Archibald Knox (1864-1933), a Liberty & Co pewter and green glass 'bomb' shaped vase c.1902-5, Faint stamp ‘Tudric’, 0226 The pewter frame pierced and with stylised honesty leaf decoration, having three supports/handles, with green glass insert 18cm high Literature: Edited by Stephen A Martin, Archibald Knox, Academy Editions 1995, page 103, ( similar example illustrated) Provenance: Sheldon Shapiro & Co, 17th November 2012 Structure good. A few marks and scars to the metal and with a small hole on the underside of one foot, so not seen when placed. Light natural wear and some rubbing to surfaces. Some polish residue. Green glass with a few abrasions and occasional fine scratch.
