Benson (1854-1924), a brass kettle, stand and burner c.1900, Stamped WASB with hammers in a shield Having an overhead cane-bound handle, the three legged stand united by a hoop that supports the burner; together with a Benson twin-handled sugar bowl and a milk jug, both with stamped marks and RD.No 398954 Kettle and stand 23.5cm high (3) Provenance: Sheldon Shapiro & Co. 26th February 2003 Kettle & Stand. A few old marks and scratches and general wear in keeping with age and some use. The wicker covering with some surface peeling to few stands, but still intact, some staining and colour variation. Stand base with appropriate wear, the hinge on the burner is a little loose. Bowl & Jug: a few marks and scratches and light natural wear in keeping with age. Plated interior to jug is rubbed.
