Gilt-bronze Figure of a Kagyu Lama, Tibet, 16th/17th century, possibly of Deshin Shekpa (1384-1415), the 5th Karmapa, depicted seated on a rectangular cushion, his hands in bhumisparsa mudra, wearing a hat with a crescent moon and sun, a lotus bud finial on the central top, his robe decorated with chased floral design, dotted double vajra mark on gilt base, ht. 4 1/2 in.
