Bronze Figure of Four-armed Sadaksari Avalokitesvara, Tibet or Nepal, possibly 15th/16th century, seated cross-legged, on a double lotus throne, his two arms in prayer pose at chest and the other two in prithvi mudra, his long hair painted in black and falling down his back, wearing a close-fitting dhoti decorated with chased band designs and a tiara crown jeweled with turquoise insets, ht. 4 3/8 in.
