Qianlong The well-proportioned vessel fashioned in the shape of an archaic bronze ewer gong standing on a high spreading foot, the bulbous mid-section finely carved with archaistic designs of taotie masks amidst ruyi heads and 'C' scrolls, the lower and upper sections with bands enclosing geometric roundels, the handle shaped as a mythical bird, the wide pinched pouring lip and foot decorated with key-fret borders, the stone of pale green tone marked by russet inclusions. 16.3cm (6 1/2in) high.
